CARBON MAKERS is a Family formed by four aerospace and motorsports composite engineers, we have worked in the biggest companies in UK such as Airbus, GE, Safran and Vestas, in the motor sport we have worked for Maclaren and Aston Martin producing state of art composite parts and cars.

Carbon Makers was founded in 2015 funded with 2.5 million pounds to construct a state of art facility in Newport-Wales. We are proud to announce that we have one of the more modern composite manufacturing plant and laboratory in UK. Whatever you can dream we can make in composite material.

Mechanical Laboratory

Common Mechanical Tests like Tensile Strength and Tensile Modulus (ASTM D638, ISO 527), Flexural Strength and Flexural Modulus (ASTM D790, ISO 178) along with Izod Impact (ASTM D256, ISO 180), Multiaxial High Speed Dynatup Impact (ASTM 3763, ISO 6603 and ISO 7765), Shore Durometer Hardness (ASTM D2240) and Dynamic Mechanical Analysis DMA (ASTM D5279, ASTM D4065), are expertly performed at Plastics Technology Laboratories, Inc. In addition, Intertek PTL also performs generally every other mechanical plastics test required by the plastics industry, including Compressive Strength (ASTM D695, ISO 604), Shear (ASTM D732), Rockwell Hardness (ASTM D785, ISO 2039) and Barcol Hardness (ASTM D2583) to name just a few. Nearly, every plastics test is A2LA Accredited and is performed on state of the art equipment to assure that you receive the accurate and precise results you require
